Authenticity is one of the most important parts of Ebbs x Flows.
Every item is checked before it is made available for sale, and we only list pieces that we are confident are genuine.
How We Check Our Products
Our authentication process starts before we buy an item.
Before sourcing
We review the product and the information available to us before purchasing it. Depending on the item, this can include checking:
- labels and tags
- stitching
- logos and print quality
- materials and construction
- product codes
- packaging and accessories
- details specific to the brand and release
If something does not look right, we do not buy it.
In-hand inspection
Once an item arrives with us, we inspect it again in person.
Being able to handle the product allows us to check details that may not be clear from photographs, including material quality, construction, stitching, print details, labels and other release-specific features.
Where necessary, we may also compare an item with known genuine references or use additional authentication resources before deciding whether it is suitable to sell.
What Makes It Onto the Store
If we are not confident that an item is authentic, it does not go onto the Ebbs x Flows website.
This applies to individually listed products as well as the stock used for our Mystery Tees.
